How It All Started
Our founder has always had a passion for political activism. From high school, Tim Hennessy was active in local races and in college began joining local governmental boards to learn more about the process. A desire to give back and civic duty sparked the idea for this firm that begin almost 30 years ago.
A run for school board at 24 fueled a desire to become more active in local politics. Serving as a judge and delegate for the 2008 and 2012 Republican State Conventions in Indiana respectively, and another run for a County Council seat in 2008 allowed Tim to hone his campaign develop skills and then continue to add more board, nonprofits, and government work to get us to where we are today. Hennessy Strategies is here to serve.
Tim Hennessy
President
Tim Hennessy, founder and president of Hennessy Strategies is originally from a small town in west-central Indiana. He is a graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in Communications and minors in Political Science and Theatre.
Tim is an entrepreneur at heart but has spent most of his career helping small to medium sized businesses grow with marketing and advertising as an account executive and sales manager with large broadcast television groups. His more than 25 years in advertising, as an agency owner, and a Deputy Director of Grassroots Operations for the largest conservative grassroots organization in the country gives him a unique perspective on how advertising can affect the electorate.
Tim is married to Tricia, a second grade teacher, and they have a 16-year old daughter named Evie, who hopes to become a doctor when she graduates. They are active in their community and reside in sunny Southwest Florida.

Lance brings a wealth of experience and an inspiring personal story to his new role. A resident of Southwest Florida since 2003, Lance is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to transformative change.
He is the founder of Lancer Aerial, an innovative drone technology company that has spearheaded solutions for a variety of industries, from emergency operations to environmental management. His forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and technology integration has earned him recognition as a leader in the field.
Lance’s political career is equally distinguished. He served as Political Coordinator for the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (FRRC), playing a pivotal role in the successful passage of Amendment 4, which restored voting rights to formerly incarcerated individuals in Florida. His strategic work in Tallahassee during the legislative process helped secure this landmark victory, making a lasting impact on the state’s criminal justice reform. Lance has experience as a grassroots organizer and engagement director among other political campaign roles.
